Car battery replacement lift
Car battery replacement lift
The Battery Replacement Lift is a robust and precision-engineered solution specifically designed for the safe and efficient replacement of electric vehicle batteries. Built on a hydraulic scissor lift system mounted to a mobile wheeled chassis, it ensures maximum stability, flexibility, and ease of operation in professional workshop environments.
The battery replacement process is carried out in a controlled and systematic manner:
The vehicle is first raised to the required working height using a standard two-post lift.
The battery replacement lift is positioned underneath the vehicle.
The platform is elevated to working height via hydraulic cylinders.
Final fine positioning is achieved using integrated mechanical adjustment screws, allowing precise alignment with the battery mounting points.
Once the battery mounting bolts are removed, they can be safely stored in a dedicated drawer integrated into the platform. The battery is then lowered together with the platform in a controlled and secure manner, ensuring safe handling throughout the removal process.
The lift is equipped with specially engineered wheels designed to prevent jamming or obstruction when moving across workshop floors, even over small obstacles such as screws or tools. This ensures smooth and reliable mobility in real service environments.
To simplify battery reinstallation, the platform allows limited lateral movement. After releasing the locking mechanism, the operator can perform small, controlled manual adjustments to ensure precise alignment of the battery mounting bolts during installation.
For maximum operational safety and stability, the lift can be securely fixed to the workshop floor using dedicated locking mechanisms. This provides additional security during complex or extended service procedures.
The Battery Replacement Lift is engineered to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety in modern electric vehicle service operations, making it an essential tool for workshops handling high-voltage battery systems and advanced EV technologies.

Engineering Responsibility and Compliance
At Hidrotiltai (Hydrobridges), every lifting system is developed through a comprehensive engineering process to ensure reliability, safety, and structural integrity.
Our company performs the complete design and engineering of the equipment, including:
🔹 Kinetostatic calculations
🔹 Structural strength analysis
🔹 Stability calculations
🔹 Full mechanical design and construction
Because the engineering process is carried out internally, we are able to issue the CE marking for our equipment ourselves, confirming compliance with the relevant European machinery regulations.
During the design and development process, we follow applicable EU machinery directives and standards, including:
✔️ EN 1570-A2 — Safety requirements for lifting tables and lifting platforms.
For manufacturing, we cooperate with production partners that operate under ISO 9001 quality management standards, ensuring consistent production quality and process control.
